- What is a VA?
- Do I need a Virtual Assistant?
- Are all Virtual Assistants the same?
- How much does it cost?
- Wouldn't it be cheaper to hire an employee?
- How soon can we work together?
- Virtual Assistants are highly qualified personal assistants who have left the corporate world and now run their own business. They are business owners in their own right, understand the pressures of running a business, are problem solvers, decision makers and can make a huge impact on your bottom line. Your work is done remotely using phone, fax, email, the internet, online secure folders, client intranet, and interactive meeting rooms. They provide answers to your administrative problems on an as needed basis.
Back to top - If you are running your own small or medium business then yes. You can have all the benefits of a top class corporate PA as and when you need one. New businesses, companies needing help on urgent projects or holiday cover and mobile entrepreneurs are all examples of potential clients for a Virtual Personal Assistant.
Back to top Definitely not. Just like a 'temp' or an administrative assistant is not an Executive Personal Assistant or Office Manager. Virtual Personal Assistants - especially those trained through Virtual Assistance U - are highly skilled individuals with strong skills including: Problem solving to help you run your business more easily; We use advanced technology and have the skills to use it to erase geographical boundaries and support you in any situation; And creative thinking to help you move your business forward.
Back to top - Rates vary depending on the nature of the task, retainer agreements and the qualification of your VA. Our range is from £10 to £35 per hour depending on the complexity of the work. Retainer clients who choose to partner with us obtain the best rates. You are billed just for the time taken to complete your work (in 15 minute increments) and a time sheet is provided - there are no hidden costs and items such as postage, printing and envelopes are charged at cost.
Back to top - Not unless you can provide them with work for 100% of the time! An employee costs around 2 - 3 times of a Virtual Personal Assistant. Go to our What's in it 4 U page for more details of the extra costs placed on an employer such as tax, national insurance, holiday and sick pay etc etc. AND your Virtual Personal Assistant is 100% productive unlike an employee. If you would like a quotation please contact us to find out how much you will save by partnering with a Virtual Personal Assistant.
Back to top - Very soon indeed. After our needs analysis is done we will provide you with an action plan that details how partnering with your VPA will save you hours of time and literally hundreds, perhaps thousands of pounds. If you would like to discuss the matter please call Christine on 0845 634 4516.
